Cedar Hong Kong develops online content for Hong Kong Tourism Board’s 2016 CCB (Asia) Wine & Dine Festival website
25 OCTOBER 2016
Cedar Hong Kong has been appointed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) to develop online content for the 2016 Wine & Dine Festival website.
The website, which is now live ahead of the prestigious annual event taking place from 27 to 30 October 2016 on the Central Harbourfront Event Space, can be found here.
Cedar’s content is presented as a series of Foodie Feature Stories designed to connect visitors new and old with the wealth of food and drink choices available in Hong Kong and to be showcased at this year’s Wine & Dine Festival. In the ‘Old and New Comfort Food’ feature, it looks at the evolution of some of the most traditional Hong Kong dishes and point travellers to the best places to sample the original – and modern – interpretation of each dish.
For wine enthusiasts, Nelson Chow, chairman of the Hong Kong Sommelier Association, lets us in on his wine secrets – and the regions that you should be looking at for quality, price and ‘braggability’. And in an exclusive video, we go in search of Hong Kong’s Ultimate Cocktail, with three of Hong Kong’s hottest bars – Maison Eight, Bao Bei and Ce La Vi – creating cocktails inspired by the city.
Cedar’s collaboration with HKTB on the website came after a competitive tender in July. Hannah Saunders, managing partner at Cedar Hong Kong said, ‘Cedar Hong Kong is delighted to have worked with the Hong Kong Tourism Board on content for the 2016 Wine & Dine Festival site. It gives us the opportunity to showcase our food and lifestyle expertise to help HKTB attract visitors from all over the world to this year’s exciting event.’
Hong Kong Tourism Board is the newest addition to the fast-growing Cedar Hong Kong client portfolio. Cedar launched its Hong Kong office in April 2015 when it was appointed to create all content for Cathay Pacific’s inflight portfolio, including the award-winning Discovery magazine and iPad edition. The Cedar team are also the retained agency producing monthly fashion and lifestyle content for Fashion Statement, the online magazine for The Boulevard at Studio City in Macau.
