THE ROLE
As Social Media Manager, Cathay Pacific Cargo, you will take a lead role in all aspects of the LinkedIn account of Cathay Pacific Cargo.
This involves a wide array of responsibilities, including planning the content and how this sits as part of the overarching LinkedIn strategy, content creation, writing and editing (particularly in English), community management, and reporting for the account.
This role is key to meeting our ambition for Cathay Pacific Cargo’s LinkedIn account: to grow followers, increase brand awareness, and deliver on conversions.
You will be part of a wider multichannel team that creates content for Cathay Pacific Cargo, and will work with them on content planning, data analytics and learnings. This role requires you to become familiar with the areas of aviation, cargo and logistics.

It primary involves publishing on digital platforms, but may also include creation of content in print, including magazines and collaterals.

It primary involves publishing on digital platforms, but may also include creation of content in print, including magazines and collaterals. In addition to transcreation and editing, on occasion the role will also require writing and copywriting in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

We’re looking for print and digital designers from a whole range of backgrounds – lifestyle, travel, B2B, business, logistics and more – who can work on short-term projects and day rates.
Ideal candidates will have experience in editorial or book design, and be comfortable with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Illustration and photo retouching skills are a plus. They will also be able to adapt into an agency environment and be based in Hong Kong.
